 Meet Cody – Owner of Monumental Home Improvements My name is Cody, owner of Monumental Home Improvements. My journey into the construction industry didn't begin in a typical classroom—it began with a passion for building things with my hands. Growing up, I struggled in traditional school settings and often felt like I learned differently than others. Everything changed when I discovered woodworking. For the first time, I found something that clicked. I realized I had a talent for working with my hands, solving problems, and creating things that would last. That passion led me to Lancaster County Career & Technology Center, where I studied carpentry and construction. During that time, I had the opportunity to learn from Amish craftsmen whose attention to detail, work ethic, and pride in their craftsmanship left a lasting impression on me. Those lessons continue to influence the way I approach every project today. After completing my education, I spent years working throughout the construction industry, gaining hands-on experience in roofing, carpentry, exterior renovations, repairs, and home improvement projects of all sizes. Along the way, I saw what homeowners appreciated most: honest communication, quality workmanship, and a contractor who treats their home with respect. That experience inspired me to start Monumental Home Improvements. Today, our goal is simple: provide dependable, high-quality home improvement services while treating every customer the way we would want our own family treated. Whether we're restoring a deck, building stairs, installing roofing, pressure washing, repairing damage, or creating custom outdoor features, we approach every project with the same level of care and attention to detail.
